Sleep & Calm ("the App") is a sleep and meditation application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: email address and display name (only if you choose to sign in)
• Usage statistics: sleep streak, total listening time, active dates
• Favorites: tracks and stories you mark as favorites

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the App's features
• To sync your progress across devices (only if signed in)
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising

4. Firebase (Google)

The App uses Google Firebase for authentication and optional data sync. Firebase may collect anonymized usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Permissions

• Internet: required for account sync and sign-in
• Notifications: used only for the optional bedtime reminder you set
• Boot completed: used to restore your bedtime reminder after device restart

6. Data Storage

• Your data is stored locally on your device
• If you sign in, data is synced to Firebase (Google Cloud, EU region)
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App.
